About Stationery Design

Stationery Design

Stationery doesn’t have quite the same importance as it once did, when frequently the first sight a potential client would have of your business would be your company letterhead or – more likely – your business card.

In terms of selling your brand, it’s way down the list when compared to (for example) your company website, so it’s not really a major problem if it gets pushed to the bottom of the pile – right?

Well, no. Although your company stationery is of course not going to be as information-rich as a website or brochure, it still represents an important opportunity to create an impression of your business.

How many times have you received a quotation on amateurish letterhead (whether printed or electronically) and it sets alarm bells ringing in your mind as to the professionalism of the service you’re going to receive? A business which uses shoddy stationery looks very much like a business which sells a shoddy product.

That’s why Braden Threadgold will take time and care over your stationery requirement – even though it’s not as exciting or (dare we say it) as profitable as some of your other communication needs.

For us, there’s still something immensely satisfying about focusing our creative juices on a task as deceptively simple as placing a company logo and contact details on a blank page. The subtle balance between maximising usable space and creating impact... the careful tweaking of type to achieve both readability and a pleasing ‘line’... the understated use of graphics, borders or backgrounds to ‘lift’ or ‘ground’ the content. And don’t even get us started on colour.

So, if you’re looking for an instant, off-the-shelf solution, please don’t be offended if we politely direct you towards one of the many online print companies offering discount packages. You’ll get what you pay for.

If, on the other hand, you’d like somebody to take as much interest in how your business presents itself as you do... well, we’d love to hear from you.
